"I have worked on several projects since joining the graduate scheme looking at operations optimisation. In one of which I successfully secured the investment of new crane technology, reducing the manual workload on operators. Within the scheme you learn so much along the way, soft skills such as people management and leadership as well as technical skills such as data analysis."
What does the Operations Management Graduate Scheme consist of?
This scheme is for graduates who have a passion for manufacturing, and are keen to get hands on with £multimillion machines working on both implementation and improvement projects as well as maintenance issues.
During the two year scheme you will have two different roles on two different UK sites, each approximately 12 months long. You will receive on and off the job training, mentoring and coaching, in a real life, challenging work setting giving you the chance to really develop your technical manufacturing knowledge in a practical environment, building on the theories you learnt during your studies. The levels of exposure and responsibility, and the opportunities to develop are vast.
