Smurfit Kappa Barnstaple, an innovative sheet plant specialising in litho print and complex service offerings, currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated part time Customer Services Administrator to join the team.

Reporting to the Internal Sales & Design Manager, this role will be a key contributor of the customer services team and actively participate in the contribution of the Customer Service Department to achieve business targets and key performance criteria.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To aid the Customer Service and other departments when needed, with general administration duties 
  • To process specifications and orders onto the system 
  • Updating and maintaining customer information
  • To maintain specifications on the system and to ensure that the information relayed to production is correct and accurate
  • To be the first point of contact to customers when calling into the office and supporting them in their requirements and if needed diverting them to the correct contact 
  • Recording customer and business KPIs
  • Support in generating customer account packs and providing customers with informative KPIs to track business performance 
  • Support continuous improvement project work
  • Support the Business Development Managers in providing timely and accurate information to customers 
  • To ensure all relevant procedures under ISO9001-2000 are adhered to.
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors to site, ensuring that all Covid-19 site restrictions and guidelines are adhered to.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service role is essential.
  • Educated to GCSE/O Level standard (Grade A-C)
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be able to prioritise workload to achieve deadlines
  • Must be a good team player but also able to work on their own
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
