The Challenge

Bulldog, a leading men’s grooming company wanted to improve their sustainability credentials and reduce the amount of plastic used in their bathing range. The current bottles are plastic and non-recyclable.

The Solution

Smurfit Kappa worked with Bulldog to design a refillable shower gel Bag-in-Box pack. The pack is made from recycled corrugated board and can hold the equivalent of 25 shower gel bottles. It has a tap for easy dispensing.

The Result

The sustainable Bag-in-Box pack enabled Bulldog to reduce plastic packaging by 60%. They also achieved competitive advantage as the first Bag-In-Box shower gel in the UK.
