Smurfit Kappa at Enomaq and Oleomaq trade shows
Smurfit Kappa will once again attend the Enomaq and Oleomaq trade shows in Zaragoza, northern Spain, this year, continuing its engagement with the local market in Spain and Portugal.
This follows the opening of its ultra-modern Bag-in-Box® plant in Ibi, near Alicante, last November. Enomaq and Oleomaq, which will run from 24 to 27 February, are two shows in one, with Enomaq focusing on bottling machinery and equipment for wine, and Oleomaq featuring olive oil technology. The combination of the two comprises the biggest trade show for bottling machinery and equipment for wine and olive oil in Spain. An expert in Bag-in-Box® solutions for wine and olive oil, Smurfit Kappa will showcase its packaging solutions and expertise at the event.
Smurfit Kappa, one of the world’s leading packaging companies, is one of the few players offering a complete Bag-in-Box® packaging system solution. From bags and taps, through to boxes and accessories, to complete filling lines, the company allows customers to work with a single partner throughout the whole process of packaging wine and oil.
Agustin Perojo, Sales Manager Smurfit Kappa Bag-in-Box Ibi, says, “We believe in the great potential of the Spanish wine and olive oil markets for Bag-in-Box®. This complete solution is already very popular in Scandinavia and other export countries and shows many advantages in terms of shelf-life, cost, sustainability and consumer convenience”. Smurfit Kappa has been gradually growing its base in Spain and Portugal, with a brand new integrated plant in Ibi and a network of sales agents and distributors. Therefore, Spanish and Portuguese customers have direct access to the top quality Vitop® Original tap, to the high quality Safe Curve bags and to the company’s high performance filling machines, and can benefit from the top class expertise of Smurfit Kappa’s teams.”
Running from 24 to 27 February 2015, this event will give to the 25,000 attendees the chance to see Smurfit Kappa’s Bag-in-Box® solutions in Enomaq (Pavilion 3, alley E-F, stand 11, 12, 15, 16), but also in Oleomaq (Pavilion 5, alley E, stand 18B) sections.
