Smurfit Kappa at Obstbau Trade Show in Germany
Smurfit Kappa will showcase high quality packaging solutions in a specialised apple trade show in Jork from 9th to 12th February 2015.
This event will host apple growers and apple transforming companies from Alte Land“(old territory), the largest, contiguous fruit-growing region in northern Europe. Germany is the first apple juice consuming country in the world and the Bag-in-Box® packaging system solution is increasingly popular within this business thanks to its long shelf life, convenience, value for money and low carbon footprint.
There has been a spectacular growth trend in consumption of fresh apple juice during the last few years. Today’s consumers are keen on natural and healthy products, short distribution channels, authenticity and the environment.
