See how we developed unique packaging for Colombian restaurant El Punto Múltiple del Sabor

The Challenge
Colombian restaurant, El Punto Múltiple del Sabor wanted to improve their customer experience as a result of Covid-19. They aimed for their customers to fall in love with the brand and provide a unique experience. Initially, their combos were being shipped in three separate boxes, which were later packed in a plastic bag to facilitate transportation. Our challenge was to redesign the packaging for their best-selling deal.

The Approach
Smurfit Kappa conducted a series of workshops with the design team and developed a solution with improved visual impact and efficiency. This was achieved by inserting corrugated cardboard dividers to improve spacing and enable the grouping of a variety of both combos and flavours. The new packaging solution includes modern graphic designs, which enhance the brand image.

The Result
The sustainable, multifunctional design which has removed the need for the unsustainable plastic bag has allowed El Punto Múltiple del Sabor to use it for their different meal options and replace previous packaging references. The new food packaging solution stands out among the competition, strengthening the restaurant's brand image while offering a unique customer experience at home. The food arrives well presented at the optimal temperature.
