CEO Message

Tony Smurfit CEO Smurfit Kappa

Smurfit Kappa is a world leader in the design and manufacture of paper-based packaging, consisting of a team of over 48,000 people, operating across 36 countries globally. Loyalty, integrity and respect are the core values and foundations on which the organisation is built.

However, how we act individually and as a Group, speaks to who we are and what others expect from us.  Our continued success, depends on whether the actions we take, are not only legal lawful, but ethical.

Our Code of Conduct and new confidential Speak Up service, provides a guide to the legal and ethical responsibilities we share, pointing us to the information and the resources we need to exercise sound decision-making on the job.

The Speak Up service has been introduced to ensure that if you suspect wrongdoing or potential wrongdoing, you can report it easily and confidentially, without any fears of retaliation.

Smurfit Kappa truly values employees who speak up about any concerns they have, if you think there is a problem and are unsure of the proper action to take, we urge you to please seek advice; or if you see something happening you believe is wrong, always stand up for what is right and make a report.

You can raise your concerns in confidence via various communications channels including email, phone and online.  All good faith reporting and concerns are operated by an independent third party.
Remember, your commitment to our Code of Conduct, tells others that as a Group, which operates around the world, we do so ethically, honestly and with integrity.

Thank you for doing your part in upholding our core values of Loyalty, Integrity and Respect.
