The one millionth TOPPSafe™
In 2017, Smurfit Kappa Hexacomb introduced TOPPsafe™, a paper based pallet top replacing the traditional wooden top boards. Since then, 1 million pieces have been produced and sold. To celebrate this, Smurfit Kappa wants to give extra attention to this unique product. Because TOPPsafe™ is made from paper it does not leave any splinters and can be used in food safe environments. Due to its low weight of around 3.5kg, TOPPsafe™ offers improved ergonomics for those that need to manually place the top board on the pallet. The TOPPsafe™ is a safe and sustainable alternative to the wooden top boards.
