Smurfit Kappa organises first Bag-in-Box® Science seminar
Smurfit Kappa Bag-in-Box and Vitop are holding the first Bag-in-Box Science Seminar in Spain.
The event, which will be held in cooperation with local packaging company Embacal, will deliver a wealth of knowledge about how Bag-in-Box® packaging systems are used in the wine industry.
The seminar will also include a range of training modules designed to increase understanding of technical issues in the industry, such as shelf life and oxygen measurements, best practices of Bag-in-Box® filling and processing, environmental issues and food contact. Participants will also be able to get advice and share their own experiences during Q&A sessions.
Successful BIB Science seminars have already taken place in countries including France, Chile, Canada, UK and Sweden and have been praised for delivering scientific information in a digestible and interesting way.
The Spanish language event will be held in Calahorra, Spain, on November 23, 2017. Speakers including Elena Jover, Quality Manager of Smurfit Kappa Bag-in-Box® in Ibi, Patrick Vuchot, Scientific Director of Smurfit Kappa Bag-in-Box and Philippe Gobin, Product Manager of Vitop will discuss some of the solutions they have found for common issues.
