Guidelines for digital die cut drawings

Once you have received one or more digital die cut drawings from your Smurfit Kappa Zedek contact, please take the following in to account:

  • PDF Drawings with status “Final” should be used as a basis for creating your artwork. If  your PDF has a “Provisional” status, it is subject to modification. In general, artwork sent to Smurfit Kappa Zedek should always be based on a PDF with “Final” status.
  • The PDF has a legend indicating ‘non visible when assembled”. Crosshatched “non visible” areas indicate covered parts when packaging or display is assembled. You may however still decide to print these areas. This indication does not take in account the placement of your products.
  • After Smurfit Kappa Zedek has received and processed your artwork, you will always receive a PDF in return for final approval.

In case of doubt please do not hesitate to get in touch with your contact at Smurfit Kappa Zedek
