Handle Insertion Machine

The Vitop handle insertion machine is designed to automatically insert handles on 3 and 5 litre Bag-in-Box (BIB) packaging.

With a rapid insertion rate of 30 handles per minute, the handle insertion machine contains a large handle-feeding unit that holds up to 1000 handles. To maximise output, handles can be safely replenished whilst the machine is operational.  All handles are delivered in packs of 50 units to allow for quick and easy loading.

Handles can be inserted at different angles ranging to 0° to 45° relative to the incoming case.  Changing the angle of insertion or the size of the pack is easily modified through the control panel.

Guaranteeing operator safety, the insertion process will automatically be interrupted if the machine is opened.  Additionally, emergency stop buttons are located on either side of the machine’s protective structure.More than one insertion machine can also be placed on a line to increase output.

  • Handle insertion rate of 1800 handles per hour or 30 handles per minute
  • High loading capacity of 1000 handles
  • Handles supplied in packs of 50 units for quick and easy loading
  • Angle of handle insertion can range between to 0° to 45°
  • Protective structure is made of aluminium with polycarbonate windows
