Main Tasks/Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities


We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven HR Manager.  Reporting directly to the Managing Director, South, with a dotted line to the UK HR Director, this role carries full HR responsibility for all 5 Smurfit Kappa sites across our Southern region.  The successful candidate will need to rapidly win the confidence and trust of their colleagues, from operators to the Site Senior Management Teams, as well as all stakeholders in between, in order to be able to deliver on the requirements of this wide-ranging HR position. A high level of drive is essential, as well as strong influencing and facilitation skills, and an element of pragmatism, as the Southern Region continues its journey on the road to an increasingly customer centric culture.


Key Competencies/Qualifications/Requirements


To join the team you will need:- 

* Strong HR track record

* Experience working in a manufacturing  environment

* Demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced organisation

* Strong relationship building and influencing skills

* Passion, and the drive to operate hands on if necessary to deliver requirements.

* A UK driving licence for occasional travel to other  sites within the region
