What does the industrial placement consist of?

We are offering Engineering Industrial Placement vacancies across the UK this year, providing opportunities to join our engineering and manufacturing teams working on productivity improvement and capitalising on investments made. The nature of this work is varied, which means that it is often possible to allocate it according to the type of engineers recruited and their specific interests, as well as current business needs; this ensures the placement is relevant to you, as well as adding value to the business.

What we’re looking for

It is important that those who are on the Industrial Placement reach their full potential both personally and professionally, while making a real contribution to the bottom line, so they are provided with the perfect learning environment of innovation, motivation and support. They will receive on and off the job training, mentoring and coaching, in a real life, challenging work setting. The kind of people who will be suited to these placements will be confident and ambitious, with a natural flair for building relationships at all levels of business and outstanding communication skills.

  • Predicted 2:1 degree classification in an Engineering Degree discipline
  • Full UK Driving Licence 
  • Right to work in UK without Sponsorship
  • You will be self-motivated, tenacious and resilient, and comfortable working both alone and as part of a team.
