UN Homologated Bag-in-Box solutions

UN homologated packaging is mandatory for the transport of dangerous goods/hazardous liquids. Also used for extra-quality to avoid any risk of damages/leakages.

According to the ADR regulation, Bag-In-Box falls into the "Combined packaging" category which is defined as: "One or more inner packaging secured by an outer packaging".

We have developed a total of three UN homologated complete packaging solutions in 5L, 10L and 20L. Our homologated bags were developed with a reinforced structure for good mechanical properties, and especially studied for the transport of dangerous goods in Bag-in-Box.

Our agreement is only valid for the specific bag and tap associated with the specific box. 

Our UN Homologated packaging solutions:

5L Bag-in-Box

  • Homologated for UN classified products of Group II (X), and Group III (Z) (Moderately and weakly dangerous products).
  • Bag specifications:
    • Reinforced PE and Nylon structure
    • Tap centred at 6 o'clock
  • Box specifications:
    • 5L square
  • Closure: Maxiflow tap
    • Specifically designed for industrial applications.
    • Tamper continuous flow ON / OFF, large flow rate.

10L Bag-in-Box

  • Homologated for UN classified products of Group II (X), and Group III (Z) (Moderately and weakly dangerous products).
  • Bag specifications:
    • Reinforced PE and Nylon structure
    • Tap centred at 6 o'clock
  • Box specifications:
    • 10L square
  • Closure: Maxiflow tap
    • Specifically designed for industrial applications.
    • Tamper continuous flow ON / OFF, large flow rate.

20L Bag-in-Box

  • Homologated for UN classified products of Group III (Z) (Weakly dangerous products).
  • Bag specifications:
    • Reinforced PE and Nylon structure
    • Tap centred at 12 o'clock
  • Box specifications:
    • 20L square
    • 20L internal belt
  • Closure: Maxiflow tap
    • Specifically designed for industrial applications.
    • Tamper continuous flow ON / OFF, large flow rate.

    Note: a 20L UN homologated format without the internal belt is under development.
