TOE Continuous improvement engineer

The T&OE Continuous improvement engineer coordinates several projects to drive the performance of the sites of the Corrugated Division. Projects may be focused on improvement of the quality performance towards our customers as well as operational cost reduction. Different project types will be covered: data collection and analysis, development of solutions and the implementation and follow up across the Division. Projects will mostly cover technical elements as well as the human operational behavior side of production. Projects will be run together with the process experts of the team and local corrugated sites and possibly external suppliers or customers.

Main Tasks/Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational issues and recommend actions;
  • Develop together with process experts solutions for existing operational issues;
  • Budget and financially monitor an implementation project;
  • Coordinate the implementation of a solution across the Division;
  • Develop applications to measure, display and share relevant outcomes of the project;
  • Monitor and analyze the success of run projects;
  • Present projects during the different stages to senior management.

Job requirements:

  •  Academical degree (Technical management or similar);

  • Experience with improvement projects, like in productivity, quality, planning and maintenance;

  • Willing to travel frequently within Europe;

  • Affinity with technical business environment (corrugated production);

  • Fluency in English. German and French preferred.


  • Project management skills, preferably a six sigma degree;
  • Analytical;
  • Impact and influence, ability to communicate easily with different levels in the organisation;
  • Teamwork and co-operation.
