The Smurfit Kappa Ireland - Graduate Management Programme - comprises of four, six month placements each in a unique business unit of Smurfit Kappa, developing Graduate Trainees in a variety of management positions. This provides a secure and dynamic learning environment for individuals who have recently completed their University education, but with limited work experience who are eager to pursue a successful career in management.
You will play a role in providing market leading, innovative solutions to local and multinational clients. Areas include: Finance, Operations, Product Design and Sales & Marketing with the potential to take up a placement at one of our global operations in the UK, Europe or further afield.
Each placement may feature one major assignment or a series of small projects, working with your fellow Trainees or autonomously, but regardless of the assignment; it will be real and live, and reflect the needs of our business at the time. Furthermore, all of our Graduate Trainees experience further education through completion of a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety Management amongst other training and development intiatives such as courses in Personal Productivity & Effectiveness for example.
