The Community Center for Integral Education which operates in Mexico City, has a series of programs that seek to have a positive impact on the development of children.
Soccer Program: promotes healthy habits and values through sports. It also promotes the development of students in multidimensional social areas through sports education.
Currently there are 210 children in this program aged from 5 to 12. They undergo regular methodological, psychological, nutritional, and paediatric evaluations to check their health conditions and how they´re doing in the program.
The findings are used to plan the training sessions and to guarantee the integral development of each child.
School for Parents: aims to create awareness among the parents of students that attend the Soccer Program in subjects that are relevant to the integral development of the children. Talks, workshops and conferences are conducted on subjects such as human development, health, child nutrition and the detection and prevention of bullying.
Currently 60 parents participate and we seek to expand the initiative to other parents
Recreation: these activities aim to promote a healthy relationship and communication among family members. The activities are developed on the Saturdays when there are no Soccer Program games and any family member who wants to, may participate.
