In Smurfit Kappa your ideas are always listened to.
Why did I join Smurfit Kappa?
I joined Smurfit Kappa through its Graduate Management Trainee Programme, a two years career programme that offered me the opportunity to be trained in all the business areas, carrying out different projects. I thought it was a challenging opportunity to spread my knowledge and develop my skills in different business areas, and all of this in an international environment with clear opportunities of professional growth.
What does the future hold?
The most important thing for me is always having new challenges and responsibilities that allow me to grow and develop my skills and potential. In Smurfit Kappa, as a global company, I’ve had them until now and I still have a big room to progress, as there are always new opportunities for growth not only in paper sales but also across the different areas and divisions of the Company. I’m confident that the mutual trust between the company and me will bring both of us a lot of benefits.
What advice would you give someone considering joining Smurfit Kappa?
Make the most of the opportunity of being part of a worldwide company leader in a very challenging sector. Be yourself, work hard. All the ideas of the employees are taken into account and we are always encouraged to express them, take decisions and give our best for the success of the whole Group. You will get the advantage of working in an international environment and also of the benefits of networking. And, one of the most motivating things of being part of Smurfit Kappa is that you know where you start your career in the company but several new stages will appear and you still don’t know where they are and where the finishing line might be.
