Mr. Gary McGann joined the Jefferson Smurfit Group in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed CEO of JSG on the 1st November 2002. He has previously held a number of senior positions in both the private and public sectors over the last 20 years, including Chief Executive of Gilbeys of Ireland Limited, Grand Metropolitan Finance and Aer Lingus Group plc. As per 1st December 2005 Mr. Gary McGann is Group Chief Executive Officer of the Smurfit Kappa Group.

Mr. Tony Smurfit has worked in various parts of the Jefferson Smurfit Group in Europe and the United States. Prior to taking up the position of President & COO of JSG on 1st November 2002, he was Chief Executive of Smurfit Europe. As per 1st December 2005 Mr. Tony  Smurfit is President & Group Chief Operations Officer of the Smurfit Kappa Group.

Mr. Ian Curley joined the Jefferson Smurfit Group in 1989 as Assistant Financial Controller, serving between 1991 and 1993 as personal assistant to Dr. Michael Smurfit. In 1994, he was appointed financial controller of Smurfit Continental Europe, becoming Chief Financial Officer of Smurfit Europe in 1997. He was appointed CFO of JSG on January 28, 2000 and to the JSG Board on 3rd September 2002. As per 1st December 2005 Mr. Ian Curley is Group Chief Financial Officer of the Smurfit Kappa Group.
