The Smurfit Kappa Group’s operations are organised within three divisions – Paper Europe, Corrugated Europe, Specialties and by country Latin America. The Paper Division is comprised of all fibre operations and paper mills in Europe. The sales and marketing organisation for all containerboard mills is based at the division HQ in Paris. They manage  the worldwide sales and internal supply of all of the Group’s containerboard. The paper division is supported by an R&D Centre in Sweden and a Technological Centre in The Netherlands.

The Corrugated Division is comprised of all corrugated packaging and fulfilment activities in Europe. The division is supported by an R&D Centre and a Technical Centre, both located in the Netherlands. Pan European customers are serviced by a central sales and coordination group. Given the number of operations in most countries, the division operates a structure of national or regional organisations.

The Specialties Division comprises activities dedicated to the needs of specific and sometimes niche markets, quite often as market leader. These include Bag-in-Box (taps, bags and systems), Solid Board (packaging and graphic board mills, solid board packaging) and Paper Sacks (including a sack kraft mill). With it’s HQ in the Netherlands, the Specialties Division operates worldwide.

The Latin America Region comprises all forestry, paper,  corrugated and folding carton activities in a number of Latin American countries, with positions in Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Chile, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Ecuador. The regional HQ is based in Miami, USA.

The Smurfit Kappa Group headquarters are located in Dublin, Ireland.
